Talofa lava, Kia Ora
First and foremost, my name, Kolotita Sulia Tuatau is my legal name on paper decided by Nz Citizenship, due to dad putting the wrong info on my birth certificate as well as my passport back in the land of Samoa.

Yes, I am Samoan. My actual given name and the one I grew up with is Sulia Kolotita Tuatau I was named after my grandma, my dad’s mum. Grandma Sulia Ponifasio and my dad Siseko Maiavatele from the village Luatuanu’u. My mum Tuna Faumuina her village Mulifanu Apia Samoa.

My Mum is gifted with her traditional Samoan healing hands in the art of Fofo like mirimiri and romiromi. I guess it’s in our blood to be a healer.

However, Io led me to be part of the roopu Nga Tohunga O Hau E Wha, where I trained under Tohunga Raine Clark.
I have worked a long side Whaea Raine since 2014 where we mahi at many healing events around Otautahi.

Our mission always is reconnecting the wellbeing of our people our community and environment, when people heal the community heals then the environment heals.

When we are Tika, Pono and Ma with ourselves then the true healing starts.

My mahi is Io led to unmask the Mae Mae that’s hidden deep within our Turoro’s Tinana.
