Since December 2024, we’ve welcomed on-site physiotherapy and pharmacy support, and in February 2025, we introduced free Hearing Clinics through Your Way Kia Roha, offering not only hearing tests but also assistance navigating many funding for hearing aids and other support devices. Our patient base has grown by nearly 500, and enrolments remain open. We’ve continued our partnership with Christchurch Women’s Hospital to offer barrier-free access to colposcopy services for wahine, now extended through 2025.

Our clinical team is thriving with the addition of a new graduate Enrolled Nurse and registered nurse Kathleen’s upskilling to Nurse Prescriber. Bringing us to a full team of 3 General Practitioners, a Nurse Practitioner, 2 Nurse Prescribers, 2 Registered Nurses, and 1 Enrolled Nurses.

We’ve launched nurse-led Respiratory, Heart Failure, and Diabetes Clinics to proactively support chronic condition management, and we’re proud to host medical, physio, and trainee intern students. Immunisation education has also been a key focus at nearly all community events this year.

FREE HEARING CLINICS

Your Way | Kia Roha is offering free, independent hearing tests across New Zealand, provided by qualified Hearing Therapists like Tayla King (Te Ara Tāringa Haumaru), This fully funded service is available to citizens and permanent residents aged 16 and over, and includes not only hearing checks but also the necessary follow-up to access funded support—such as hearing aids, flashing light and vibrating smoke detectors, and other assistive devices.

The goal is to detect and address hearing loss early, ensuring better outcomes for the community.
