Community Initiatives

Take a look at some of the exciting activities we engage in within the community. Explore them below.

Our community initiatives at He Waka Tapu in Christchurch encompass a range of programmes aimed at holistic wellness and community development. From our free Tinana Community Gym to our Pātaka Kai & Pukapuka pantry and library, we promote sharing and support among residents.

Te Aranga Health offers low-cost healthcare with a focus on well-being, while our Community Development Workshops empower individuals with communication skills rooted in Te Ao Māori. We also offer venue hire for events and support men in the community through our Brotherhood initiative.

Together, these initiatives embody our commitment to fostering inclusivity, support, and cultural reverence in our community.
