Located in Hakatere, at the front of the YMCA arcade, our local hub offers a variety of He Waka Tapu services. We provide essential support for the well-being of whaiora in the community and serve as an access point to the wider Ōtautahi office and teams.

13NovTE AUKATI MATAHOKI - RELAPSE PREVENTION
Te Aukati Matahoki is the Māori translation given for Relapse prevention. This is a maintenance group where Tangata Whaiora have the opportunity to engage with other members of the community who have been abstinent or are trying to reduce harm associated with AOD substance abuse and require additional support.

Oma Oma is our running open group that unites both kaimahi and whaiora in the spirit of health, wellbeing and having fun. Every Thursday lunchtime members of our hapori gather to take part in a 3km run or walk around the eastside in preparation for this years Pae Ora event.

14NovOPE HĀKINAKINA - SPORTS FOCUSSED GROUP
Ope Hākinakina is our sports focused open group that unites both kaimahi and whaiora in the spirit of health, wellbeing and having fun. Every Thursday afternoon members of our hapori gather to take part in activity ranging from ultimate frisbee to touch football, this rōpū caters to whānau of all age groups and backgrounds.
