HWT @ 24AFFIRM!

AFFIRM is always a highlight on our calendar. It’s a day to show up for our community, connect with whānau kanohi ki te kanohi, and stand alongside other services who are doing incredible mahi across Ōtautahi.

While the stage was full of music, movement and entertainment, the field was all fun and games. That balance is what makes AFFIRM so special. Whānau get to enjoy a fun day out while also having the space to engage with providers who can awhi when needed.

Our crew were kept busy throughout the day, handing out prizes and once again we also ran our grocery hamper survey, with whānau guessing the number of items inside to go in the draw. One lucky winner walked away with more than $300 worth of kai to take home for their whānau. Ngā mihi nui and congrats to this year’s winner.

A huge thank you to the whole team at ACTIS for hosting another awesome AFFIRM event, and to everyone who stopped in for a kōrero. We’ll be back again next year, same place, same kaupapa!
