We value the strong and ongoing relationship we have with Hakatere Marae and are always grateful to be part of the annual hauora events they lead throughout the year. These kaupapa create important spaces for our community to connect with local services, access support, and prioritise their wellbeing.

The day brought together a range of organisations offering free health care and services that contribute to our people taking care of their hauora. It was great to stand alongside other providers who share the same commitment to strengthening our whānau.

Our kaimahi were onsite promoting the services available through He Waka Tapu Ashburton and connecting directly with the community. We were also able to sign up wāhine for our free self-screening cervical testing clinic.

We look forward to more opportunities to work with Hakatere marae in the future.
